Our School Assemblies transform your school assembly, classroom or gym into a Museum.  You will havea myriad of museum-quality (many genuine and life-size) dinosaur fossils and other prehistoric related items items right in your own school. Your students will see items that are 10,000 to over 500 million years old.  The visual display will be amazing!  A great addition to your earth science curriculum.  Kids will be able to see and touch these items up-close, including the newest additions to our collection, a 9 foot leg of an Ice Age Mammoth, genuine Dinosaur Eggs and Dinosaur Footprints plus lots more.

Arts in Education

 School Assemblies with Dinosaurs Rock is a lively educational experience for your student school assembly.

Some potential topics we'll cover at your school assembly, using pieces from the museum display for demonstration purposes, include:       

Dinosaur Extinction Theory
Plant-eaters vs. Meat-eaters
Demonstration of how museums build exhibits
Prehistoric life outside of dinosaurs – sharks, insects, etc.
Discussion of what Fossils are, how they are formed
Scientific clues - how we learn about prehistoric life & dinosaurs, e.g. footprints, egg nests . .

FOSSIL DIG

Your School Assembly includes a genuine Fossil Dig.  Your students will have the opportunity to discover and keep genuine fossils.  As they participate in this hands-on activity, they will be awed as they uncover genuine dinosaur bone, shark teeth, ammonites, petrified wood and more.  Best of all, they will be taking some fossils home, the start of their own collection! 

Our School Assembly programs can be presented to 50-500 or more students, done in consecutive sessions.  Prices start at $500.  Call us for pricing details.

School Set Up Prior to Dinosaurs Rock Visit

We want to make your School Assembly the best you have ever experienced.  In order for us to help you, please make note of the following:

NO STAIRS - NO ELEVATORS
With many specimens 60 - 90 pounds...
We need to park and unload as close to the area where we will be presenting.
If Neil Brown is conducting your Assembly, please have "10" 6-ft tables available and place in a U-Shape nearest the door of entry.  Or if you have a stage of at least 18-20 ft. in width, then you need only "6" 6-ft tables.  Three (3) on each end of the stage.  The photo on top of this page shows a stage with 3 tables on each side on the floor.  This is our ideal set-up and will allow for many items to be displayed.

Please speak with us prior to booking to make sure set-up area is appropriate.

A (one-way) Travel Fee will apply for distances of more than 25 miles from our nearest instructor.
